After a long illness, Mrs. Rufus Irving Scott of 710 Kirkwood boulevard, passed away this morning at her home.
Mrs. Scott's demise was not unexpected as she has been in a critical condition for several weeks.
Mrs. Scott whose maiden name was Harriet Sarah Jordon, was born Dec. 4, 1885, in Washington county, Penn. On March 3, 1870, she was united in marriage to Rufus I. Scott. To them two children were born, one daughter Harriet, who died in infancy and one son, Harry V. Scott, who with the husband survives.
Mr. and Mrs. Scott moved to Davenport in 1890 and have made their home here ever since.
The funeral will be held at the residence, 710 Kirkwood boulevard, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be private.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Rufus Irvlng Scott were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home, 710 Kirkwood boulevard, Dr. Coffman of the First Presbyterian church officiating. The services at the grave in Oakdale cemetery were private.
Those who acted as pallbearers were: Dr. George Middleton, Wilbur Spencer, Harry Spencer, John Tanner, N. Godfrey and Horace Roberts.

Private funeral services for Rufus I. Scott were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Hill & Fredericks chapel. The Rev. LeRoy Coffman officiated at the services at the chapel and at the grave in Oakdale cemetery.
Pallbearers were E. C. Roberts, H. G. Roberts, W. G. Henigbaum, E. L. Goff, W. E. Spencer, and H. H. Hoyt.
